Mrs. Wilson was a lifelong resident of Bernie, a homemaker and a member of the White Oak General Baptist Church of rural Bernie.
She was united in marriage to John Oliver Wilson on Jan. 1, 1935, at Bernie. He preceded his wife in death on Aug. 3, 1969.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene Wilson of Grandin and J.R. Wilson of Bernie; seven daughters, Geraldine Jarnagin of Portageville, Doris Jennings of Dexter, Mary Lowery of Bernie, Lois Merritt of Hillsdale, Sue Lowe of Sikeston, Diane Sontheimer of Houma, La., and Vickie Shipman of Malden; one brother, Roy Lee Losh of Fredericktown; two sisters, Lucille Allen of Malden and Imogene Smith of Booneville; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by three daughters, Joyce Wilson, Darlene Wilson and Joan Wilson Hansen; three brothers, Allen Losh, Woodrow Losh and Dawsey Losh; and two sisters, Madge Pyle and Linda Beckham.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie.
Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery, rural Dexter.
