Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Waterford Community Church, a member of the Daughters of The American Revolution, a homemaker, a resident of Waterford, Mich., formerly of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to James Chester Jennings, Sr., on May 25, 1940, at Napoleon, Ohio. Mr. Jennings preceded her in death on July 14, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, James Chester Jennings, Jr., of Atlanta, Ga., and Roy Burton Jennings of Sunbury, Ohio; two daughters, Beverly (Acie) Anderson of Clarkston, Mich., and Karen Jennings of Lake Orion, Mich.; two brothers, Keith (Betty) Minton and Kenneth (Revalee) Minton, both of Dexter; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Previtt.
Visitation will be held at the Pleasant Grove Community Church on State Highway H from 1-2 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2006.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Community Church with Rev. Ron Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
