John Elton Clement, 91, was born Sept. 18, 1914, at Bernie and died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at West County Care in Ballwin.

On Oct. 7, 1945, he was united in marriage to Lois Lorraine Moore at Great Falls, Mont.

He was the son of the late John Edmund Clement and Martha Davenport Clement. He had served in the U.S. Air Corp stationed at 7th Ferrying Group at Great Falls, Mont. He served in World War II.

He was a 50 year member of Bernie Masonic Lodge #573, a former teacher at Tri-County Trade and Technical School, link trainer instructor at Anderson Air Activities in Malden, and a member of National Camping Methodist and Good Sam RV Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Clement of Bernie; one son, Michael Clement of Manchester; two daughters, Patricia Baker of Florissant and Kathi Clement of St. James, and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006, at Bradshaw Chapel with Rev. Robert McNabb officiating.

Interment will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with military rites.

The family requests that memorials be made to Malden United Methodist Church.
