Virginia Maxine Harrell, 75, of Binghamton, N.Y., formerly of Dexter, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at United Health Services Wilson Hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Hazel and Guy Julian, and wife of the late John J. Harrell.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth Harrell, Virginia Beach, Va., and Paula Dawes, Binghamton, N.Y.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Julian of Massillon, Ohio; her sisters, Glenda Crowe, Springfield, and Ada Dean, New Albany, Ind.

Visitation will be held at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home after 8 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2006.

A committal service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2006, at 9 a.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of local services.
