Everett Little

Everett Little was born June 23, 1937, at Fisk and died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 68.

He had lived at Puxico for the past 36 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired welder from Arvin Automotive in Dexter and formerly drove a truck for Lee's Tie Yard.

He had served in the Marine Corps from 1954-1958.

On Feb. 3, 1961, he was united in marriage to Maxine Little, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 2, 1997.

Survivors include one son, Chief Master Sgt. John Little of Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas; one daughter, Angela Bishop of Chaffee; three brothers, Walter Jackson and Eugene Jackson, both of Fairdealing, and Earl Jackson of Cedar Town, Ga.; five sisters, Roberta Weaver and Mary Hensen, both of Poplar Bluff, Mary Sills and Clara Howard, both of Naylor, and Annie Gulley of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Little; and his mother and step-father, Truly and Jack Jackson; and one brother, Lee Little.

A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. at Ash Hill Cemetery East.

White-Sanders Funeral Home of Fisk was in charge of arrangements.
