Wenzil Dean Crow, son of Ruby Leona Creg Crow and the late Wenzil Crow, was born on Aug. 9, 1938, at Bernie and died at his residence in Bernie on Sunday, June 18, 2006, at the age of 67.
Mr. Crow was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter. He was a member of the Bernie Masonic Lodge #573 and also a member of the Holiday Rambler R.V. Club.
He was united in marriage to Shirley M. King on Dec. 9, 1960, at Bethany Church in rural Campbell. She survives of the home in Bernie.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley M. Crow of Bernie; three sons, Grover Craig Crow of Kennett, Bryan Kirk Crow of Memphis, Tenn., and Bradley Dean Crow of Columbia; his mother, Ruby Crow of Dexter; three brothers, David Edward Crow, Larry Keith Crow and Darrell Duane Crow, all of Dexter; two sisters, Leona Lois Griffin of Dexter and Linda Sue Smothers of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren, Sterling Garrett, Dustin Garrett, Seth Crow, Hannah Crow, Emma Crow, Cierra Crow and Jake Qualls.
He was preceded in death other than by his father, by one daughter, Deana Kay Crow Garrett.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with a Masonic service being conducted at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Wayne Wood officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
