Lucy Irene Harrison

Lucy Irene Harrison, daughter of the late Thomas Loyd Allstun and Carrie Bell Tracer Allstun, was born Feb. 20, 1911, near Dexter and died in the Crowley Ridge Care Center at Dexter on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the age of 95.

Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Essex Church of Christ, a homemaker and a resident of rural Bloomfield.

She was united in marriage to John Ralph Harrison on Dec. 20, 1930, at Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Harrison preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1997.

Survivors include two brothers, Lorn Allstun and Walter Allstun, both of Dexter; two sisters, Ruth Larsen of Bloomfield and Alice Abbott of Dexter.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charley Allstun and Arthur Allstun; four sisters, Bessie Shipman, Edith Gist, Pansy Vaughn, and Lillie Fortner.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Herman Morse officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
