Lucille Biggerstaff, the daughter of the late Perry Delmar and Bessie Lee Hjendricks Daniel, was born near Murray, Ky., on Dec. 15, 1908, and died at the Sunset Hills Nursing Center in Sunset Hills on June 20, 2006, at the age of 97.

Mrs. Biggerstaff was born in Kentucky but raised in Dexter. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to St. Louis where she has lived for many years.

On Sept. 1, 1934, she was married to Truman Biggerstaff in Dexter. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1997.

Surviving are one son, Gene Biggerstaff of St. Louis; one grandson; two brothers, Dallas Daniel of Dexter and Perry Daniel of Conway, Ark.; two sisters, Inez Holder and Pat Watkins, both of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Burie, Earl and Bradley Daniel; and two sisters, Delmar Melton and Rubye Daniel.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2006, at the Watkns & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Vaughn Wright of Dexter officiating.

Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
