Lloyd H. Pullum

Lloyd H. Pullum, son of the late Herbert M. and Serena McCoy Pullum, was born in Parma on July 14, 1931, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on Thursday, June 29, 2006, at the age of 74.

Mr. Pullum was a resident of Dexter for 34 years. He was retired from Arvin Industries in Dexter. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Malden and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

On Dec. 23, 1955, he was married to Albert Cook at Hernando, Miss.

Surviving are his wife, Alberta Pullum of Dexter; two brothers, Leo Pullum of Essex and Floyd Pullum of Malden; one sister, Dorothy Wilson of Overland.

He was preceded in death by one daughter.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. James Bolin of Malden officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery with full military rites with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
