Barbara Ann Nard, daughter of the late Cleveland James Drane and Bernice Drane, was born in Alabama on April 14, 1942, and died near Bloomfield on Monday, July 3, 2006, at the age of 64.

She had resided in Southeast Missouri for 12 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Dee Burfield and Natasha Nard, both of Dexter; three brothers, Joe Drane, Buddy Drane and Jimmy Drane, all of Michigan; three sisters, Betty, Debbie and Pat, all of Michigan; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
