Joyce L. Collins, 53, of Sikeston, died Monday, July 3, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 20, 1952, in Philadelphia, Miss., to the late John and Margaret Lewis Hickman.

She had been a CNA at Claycliff Nursing Home in Brinkley, Ark., for nine years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Pyles of Dexter; three daughters, Candace Pyles and Christina Pyles Porter, both of Dexter, and Melinda Pyles of St. Louis; three brothers, Bill Hickman of Philadelphia, Miss., Frank Hickman and James Hickman, both of Sikeston; one sister, Joann Holder of Sikeston; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; three brothers; and one sister.

Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2006, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with services to be held at 1 p.m. in the Nunnelee Chapel with Rev. Randy Thomas, pastor of Morehouse First General Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in Essex Cemetery.
