Shirley Jean Causey, daughter of the late James Edward White and Sylvia Goodman White, was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Bernie and died Monday, July 3, 2006, at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Ill., at the age of 67.

She was married to Connie F. Causey on Oct. 2, 1955, at Corinth, Miss.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Connie Causey of Malden; one son, Billy Joe Causey of Libertyville, Ill.; one daughter, Donna Winandy of Glenview, Ill.; one foster daughter, Nancy Mathias of Mundelein, Ill.; three sisters, Sally Botts of Bernie, Allene "Dee" Cooper of Glenview, Ill., and Jeanette Stone of Bernie; one brother, Jim White of Belleville, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with interment to follow.
