On June 10, 2006, Miss Amber Michelle Swinger and Mr. Jason Michael Huey were united in marriage by Father David Dohogne at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter.

The bride is the daughter of Marla and Steve Rainey of Wentzville and the bridegroom is the son of Mick and Linda Huey of Perryville. Grandparents of the bride include Harry Swinger, Carol and Doyle Lemings, and Sam Bailey, all of Dexter. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Sam and Irene Huey of Dexter.

The bride wore a strapless, white, satin gown accented with beading and silver threading. The bouquet consisted of bright orange, fuscia, pink and purple gerbera daisies and orchids. Attending the bride was maid of honor Ashley Temples of Dexter, friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Huey, Jessica Gibson, Cody Launius, and Megan Bishop, all friends of the bride from the Dexter area. The bridesmaids wore strapless, pale yellow dresses. They each carried bouquets similar to the bride's.

Serving as best man was Matt Terry of Dexter, friend of the bridegroom. The groomsmen included Taylor Joyner, Jason Ryan, and Jeremiah Robinson, all of Dexter, and Craig Okenfuss from Harrison, Ark. The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with a white vest and bowtie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with pale yellow vests.

The flower girl was Celeste Huey of Dexter, and the ringbearer was Matt Agey of Dexter, both cousins of the bridegroom. The flower girl wore a white dress accented with beading and similar to the bride's. The ringbearer wore a black tuxedo similar to the groomsmen's. Madison Bishop of Dexter, cousin of the bridegroom, distributed bubbles after the ceremony.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Dexter High School and is currently attending S.E.M.O. for her bachelor's degree in agribusiness. She is currently employed as a soybean field inspector with Monsanto Global Seed in Matthews. The bridegroom is also a 2001 graduate of Dexter High School and is currently employed as an agriculture teacher with Oran Public Schools. The couple is planning a honeymoon in December to Colorado and will reside in Dexter.
