Shirley Ann Shipman Temples

Shirley Ann Shipman Temples, the daughter of the late James C. and Edna Edwards Shipman, was born in Dexter on July 16, 1942, and died at her home in Dudley on July 16, 2006, at the age of 64.

Mrs. Temples along with her husband were owners of Temples Auction Service in Dexter. She was a member of the Peoples Full Gospel Church in Dudley.

On Oct. 30, 1964, she was married to Norris (Bud) Temples, Jr. in Poplar Bluff.

Surviving are her husband, Norris (Bud) Temples, Jr. of Dexter; three sons, Ronald D. Temples of Dexter, Darren Len Temples and Aaron Lee Temples, both of Dudley; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Charles House of Dudley officiating and Jack Crawford of Malden assisting.

Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
