Darlene "Dee" Perkins Fuchs, 61, of Sikeston, died at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2006, at her residence. She was born on Jan. 3, 1945, in Poplar Bluff to the late Arthur Sheldon and Viola Mae Spence Perkins. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church of Sikeston and was also a 1962 graduate of Sikeston High School. She had been a chairman of the Missouri Delta Medical Center Women's Auxiliary.

On July 6, 1962, she was married to N. Edward Fuchs, III, who survives of the home.

Surviving are one son N. Edward Fuchs, IV, of Sikeston; one daughter, Marguerite Elizabeth Johnson of Independence; one sister, Janet Bacon of Turlock, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2006, at St. Frances Xavier Church with Father Scott Sunnenberg and Monsignor Richard Rolwing officiating.

A private committal service will be held at a later date.
