On July 15, 2006, Miss Ashley Marie Clark and Mr. David Reid Post were united in marriage at the Holy Episcopal Church in Poplar Bluff.

The bride is the daughter of Deanna O'Neal of Branson and Mitchell Clark of Sikeston, and the bridegroom is the son of Margaret and the late Dan Post of Columbia. Grandparents of the bride include Loreda Janson of Dexter, Minnie and the Late Sullivan Clark of Essex.

The bride wore a strapless, white, satin gown accented with silver beading. The bouquet consisted of cascading yellow roses. Attending the bride was maid of honor Kimberly Clark, sister of the bride. She was escorted by her brother Derek Clark.

Bridesmaids were Paulette Murray of Bowie, Md.; Kaya Henderson of St. Louis; and Christina Janson of Dexter. The bridesmaids wore satin white sleeveless tops with yellow satin skirts and carried bouquets of yellow carnations.

Serving as best man was P.J. Brown of Poplar Bluff, friend of the bridegroom. The groomsmen included Andrew Post of Columbia, John Ritter of Little Rock, Ark., and Matt Candrl of Columbia. The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with a white vest and long tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with pale yellow vests and long ties.

The flower girl was Katie Candrl of Columbia, and the ringbearer was Bryan Candrl of Columbia, both cousins of the bridegroom. The flower girl wore a white dress accented with a yellow ribbon. The ringbearer wore a black tuxedo with a black bow tie. The Junior Bridesmaid was Sarah Richardson, sister of the bride, and the Junior Groomsman was Austin Richardson, brother of the bride. Mike Janson, Bop Oppermann, and Colby Reed acted as ushers. Colby Reed, brother of the bride, also read a scripture at the ceremony along with Erin Rieffer, friend of the bride.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Dexter High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is currently employed as an advertising consultant at the Columbia Missourian. The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lowndes County High School in Valdosta, Ga., and is currently employed as a senior clerk at Midway USA in Columbia. They will continue to reside in Columbia.
