Jeffery Glenn Womack

f Tom Ford and Elizabeth McKibben Womack, was born in Sikeston on Dec. 24, 1952, and died at his residence in Chaffee on Monday, July 31, 2006, at the age of 53.

Mr. Womack had lived in various cities in Missouri serving with the Missouri Highway Patrol. He had retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2003 after serving the state for 25 years. Two years ago he and his wife moved to Chaffee where he was serving as the chief of police. He also served on the Jackson Police Department for two years. Mr. Womack served in the Air Force for four years.

On Dec. 30, 1973, he was married to Marva Morgan in Parma.

Surviving are his wife, Marva Womack of Chaffee; one son, Jeffery Adam Womack of Goldsbrough, N.C.; two daughters, Dottie Franklin of Perryville and Christina Griffin of Columbia, S.C.; his father and mother, Tom and Elizabeth Womack of Lilbourn; two brothers, Thomas Hale Womack of Sisters, Ore., and Kenneth Wayne Womack of Carlisle, Pa.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Dr. Bill Reed of Lilbourn and Rev. Robert Blakely, Chaplain of the Chaffee Police Department, officiating.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.

Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Parma is in charge of arrangements.
