Lorene Nichols Soucie

Lorene Nichols Soucie, 80, of Orion Township, formerly of Waterford, Mich., died Aug. 16, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olus; her parents, Lula and Edgar Joseph; four brothers, Brown, John, William, and Walter; and two sisters, Maudie and Mabel.

Survivors include her children: Phillip (Gale) Nichols, Larry (Linda) Nichols, and Claudia Keeley; grandchildren, John (Jeanenne), Holly (Raymond), Rebecca, Heather (Charles), Thomas, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Sara and Nicholas; brother, Russell (Lottie) Joseph; and her sister-in-law, Sue Mitchell.

Visitation will be held today Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell, Orion, Mich.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the White Chapel Cemetery.
