Grover C. Mosley

Grover C. Mosley, son of the late Joseph and Stella Reed Mosley, was born on Sept. 19, 1917, at Blytheville, Ark., and died at the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau on Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at the age of 88.

Mr. Mosley was of Protestant faith, a farmer, and a resident of Kennett.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia A. Duvall of Friant, Calif., Peggy L. Rangel and Muriel D. Dirden, both of Dexter; two sons, Gerald K. Mosley and Ralph A. Mosley, both of Dexter; two sisters, Patsy James of Paragould, Ark., and Freda Lloyd of Kennett; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Sipes and Carman Webster; and two brothers, Jay Mosley and Raymond Mosley.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Donations may be made at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
