Jennie Richards

Jennie Lou Richards, 69, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Oct. 11, 1936, in Vanduser, daughter of the late Raymond and Willie C. (Cantrell) Richards.

She is survived by two sisters, Willadean Stearnes of Albuquerque, N.M., and Wanda Gail Spivey of St. Augustine, Fla.

One brother, John Dale Richards, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev. Dick Smith officiated, assisted by Jeanette Smith and Kathryn Spalding.

Interment followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
