Nelba Brown, daughter of the late John Trammell and Emmer Birchfield Trammell, was born on June 18, 1922, at Dexter and died at Ft. Pierce, Fla., on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at the age of 84.

Mrs. Brown was a former employee of General Motors, a former resident of Dexter and currently resided in Ft. Pierce, Fla.

Survivors include one son, Dale Nance of Troy, Mich.; one daughter, Madelyn Bowman of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; one sister, LaDonne Waggoner of Dexter; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nadine Kuenzer.

Visitation will be held from 3:30-4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Don Cooper officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
