Other survivors include two sons, Kenny Harp of Benton and Timothy Harp of Crane; five daughters, Carol DeBerry and Glenda Hester, both of Dexter, Julie Hays and Lisa Burton, both of Sikeston, and Teresa Lutes of Oran; four brothers, Frank Lewis of Sikeston, Melvin Lewis of Essex, Emmett Lewis of Russell, Ky., and Ed Lewis of Harker Hight, Texas; three sisters, Wilma Haley of Charleston, Blanche Sturgeon of Sikeston, and Carolyn Patterson of Advance; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son; three granddaughters; two grandsons; three brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, in the Nunnelee Chapel with Rev. Bill Martin, pastor of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
