Annie Mae Smith, 79, formerly of Bernie, daughter of the late Green Wilson and Georgia Lewis Wilson, was born April 13, 1927, at Clarksdale, Ark., and died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Moberly.
She had been united in marriage to Love Smith, and he preceded her in death in July 1962.
Survivors include four daughters, Jeanette Hatcher of Indianapolis, Ind., Paulette Cole of Marion, Ind., Barbara Thomas of Jefferson City, and Delores Fugate of Moberly; five sons, Edward Kelly of Detroit, Mich., Willette Smith of Bernie, Paul Prather of Dudley, Willie Prother of Columbia, and Eddie Smith of Malden; 55 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Eddie Samuel Smith, Wade Smith, and Daniel Kelly; one daughter, Georgia Mae Harvey; two brothers, Cecil Wilson and Nathan Morris; and two sisters, Rosie Allen and Charlesetta Richardson.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Pastor Gene Perkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
