Gary Dale Jines, son of Mabel Hinrichs Jines Lancaster of Risco and the late Ulice W. Jines, was born Nov. 10, 1944, at Poplar Bluff and died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Dexter.

On April 28, 1979, he was united in marriage to Sherry Anne Curtis in Parma.

He had served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Risco. He had been a retired agri-pilot.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Jines of Dexter; one son, Michael Jines of Malden; one step-son, Bobby Morley of Lake City, Ark., his mother and step-father, Mabel and James Lancaster of Risco; one sister, Patty Fisher of Springfield; and one brother, Don Jines of Risco.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Jines.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.

The family has suggested that memorials be made to Stoddard County A.R.C. in Dexter.
