Mr. Sinyard had lived most of his life in Georgia before moving to Holcomb nine years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
He was married to Belva Brigman in Gatlinburg, Tenn., on Aug. 21, 1999.
Surviving are his wife, Belva Sinyard of Holcomb; one son, James Brian Sinyard, Sr., of Hendersonville, N.C.; two daughters, Cheree Dawn Talent and Cheryl Diane Baynard, both of Hendersonville, N.C.,; two brothers, Larry Joe Sinyard and James Allen Sinyard, both of Gordon, Ga.; three sisters, Patricia Adams and Cindy Adams, both of Hawkinsville, Ga., and Regina Sinyard of Tifton, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Roger Ogelvie of New Madrid officiating.
Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
