Wava Gillespie died in her residence at rural Dexter on Sept. 14, 2006, at the age of 70.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at the Dexter Church of Christ on One Mile Road in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield and a complete obituary and will be published in Sunday's edition of The Daily Statesman by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
