She and Norman I. Magee were married on July 5, 1936. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1987, after 51 years of marriage. Mrs. Magee was of the Baptist faith. Mollie and her husband owned "Fibber and Mollie's Cafe" in Bloomfield and operated two grocery stores in Avert. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1964 and retired from Rust and Martin Drapery Department in 1980.
Survivors include one son, Don Magee of Oak Ridge; two daughters, Elaine Choate of Scott City and Carol Vandiver of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
