Mrs. Pippins was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker and a resident of Bernie.
She was united in marriage to Arthur Alta Pippins on May 22, 1952, at Piggott, Ark. He preceded his wife in death on Aug. 25, 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Gregory Alan Pippins, Sr. of Dexter and Steven Kirk Pippins of Bentonville, Ark.; one step-son, Phillip Arthur Pippins of Arnold; two daughters, Lisa Susanne Carlson of Harviell and Linda Michelle Aguilar of the state of California; two step-daughters, Bonnie June Mitchem of Ironwood, Mich., and Barbara Jean Lamar of Malden; one sister, Frances Turnbow of Poplar Bluff; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband by three sons, Gary Michael Boyt, Randall Evan Pippins and Jeffrey Lynn Pippins; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Mekan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
