Carl Glendon Street, son of the late Lloyd Ancil and Alma Ella Chasteen Street, was born at Bloomfield on Sept. 14, 1927, and died at his home in Bloomfield on Sept. 21, 2006, at the age of 79.

Mr. Street retired from Monsanto Chemical in St. Louis and had been a resident of Bloomfield for the past several years.

Survivors include two sons, Ken Street of St. Louis and Dennis Street of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Louise Loos of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Susan Hoyle officiating.

Interment followed in West Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Bloomfield.
