Cody Dewayne Boone, son of Steve and Kimberly Marvel Cornell, was born in Poplar Bluff on Jan. 28, 1990, and died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident near Bloomfield on Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at the age of 16.

Mr. Boone had been a resident of Bloomfield for the past eight years and was a sophomore at Bloomfield High School.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Kim Cornell of Dexter; four brothers, Brandon Marvel, Colton Cornell and Caden Cornell of the home, and Seth Walters of Bernie; one sister, Madalyne Cornell of the home; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Wanda Marvel of Bloomfield; his paternal grandfather, David Jerald Cornell of Holcomb; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
