Stella M. Gisi, Daughter of the late Edmond P. Gisi and Mary Iva Morrison Gisi was born on March 24, 1929 in Essex, MO and departed this life at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on October 12, 2006 at the age of 77 years.

Stella was a former bookkeeper for the Stoddard County ASCS Office in Bloomfield, MO for many years, former volunteer at the Dexter Nutrition Center, member of Dexter Eagles #4062, affiliated with the New Hope General Baptist Church in Essex, and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include two brothers; Charles Gisi and Wilbert Gisi both of Essex, MO., two sisters; Ethel French of Oklahoma City, OK. and Jo Hice of Dexter, MO., also by two step grandchildren; Paige Snelson and Allison Snelson both of Bloomfield, MO.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers; Raymond Gisi, Glennon Gisi, Eugene Gisi and Harold Gisi.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday October 14, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 15, 2006 in the Rainey- Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Martin Goode officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
