Mary Ann McCoy

Mary Ann McCoy, daughter of the late Joseph Koechner and Rita Kinkel Koechner, was born on Sept. 16, 1955, in Dexter and died on Oct. 16, 2006, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter where she lost the battle with cancer at the age of 51.

Mrs. McCoy was a former employee with Inland Shoe Company and Media Press, both in Dexter and Sikeston, and a resident of Dexter.

On Aug. 21, 1982, she was united in marriage to Rodger Dale McCoy in Dexter. Mr. McCoy survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Christie McCoy Cooley and Keith of Dexter; three brothers, Joseph Koechner, James Koechner and Kevin Koechner, all of Advance.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Malloy officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
