Mrs. Kestner was a member of the Pleasant Grove Community Church, a homemaker and a resident of Dudley, Mo.
On Sept. 30 1950 she was united in marriage to Joseph 'Shorty' Kestner in Piggott, Ark. Mr. Kestner survives of the home in Dudley.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph 'Shorty' Kestner of Dudley; one son, Michael Douglas Kestner of Honolulu, Hawaii; one daughter, Deborah Kestner of Dexter; two brothers; Loan Griffin of Potosi, Mo. and Gary Griffin of Batesville, Ark.; one sister, Janease Harms of Winona, Mo.; one granddaughter, Ceceli Duckworth of Dexter and one great-grandson, Joseph Greer of Dexter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Glen Griffin, Kenneth Griffin and Rudy Griffin.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Re. Ronald Williams and Rev. Dale Shearon officiating. Interment will follow in the Headly Cemetery in Dudley, Mo.
