James D. Bowling

James D. Bowling, the son of the late James Henry and Comilla Tedder Bowling, was born in Guntersville, Ala., on Dec. 28, 1922, and died at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at the age of 83.

Mr. Bowling had lived most of his life in Bloomfield. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield where he served as a deacon.

On Oct. 25, 1941, he was married to Lois Haskins in New Madrid.

Surviving are his daughter, Lesa Uht of Bloomfield; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
