David W. McGhee, 61, St. Louis, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006. He was raised in Essex where he graduated from high school. Mr. McGhee was a 1967 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army. His most recent work history included the position of President and Founder of British-American Forfaiting Company. He also worked for Westinghouse Credit Corporation, DWM Investment Company, Monsanto Company, May Department Stores and Arthur Anderson & Co. Mr. McGhee had many interests which included traveling, collecting art and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesson and Jewel McGhee and a brother, Ronald C. McGhee. He is survived by two brothers.
The family would like to express their thanks to the neighbors and friends who provided much love and support to David and his family during his brief, difficult illness.
