Betty Henson, daughter of the late Clifford Hill and Rosie Tyree Hill, was born on June 2, 1929, in Fisk and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at the age of 77.

Betty retired from Dexter Poultry, was a babysitter for many years and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Henson, Joe Henson and Robin Henson, all of Dexter; three brothers, James C. Hill of Tulsa, Okla., Verlin Ray Hill of Bloomfield, and Terry Hill of Clarkton; two sisters, Larrea Mohney of Tulsa, Okla., and Joyce Harvey of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cliffy Davis.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ash Hill Cemetery at Fisk.
