Donald Eugene McCollough, son of the late Alfred L. McCollough and Thelma Eaton McCollough, was born Aug. 30, 1942, near Dexter and died on Nov. 14, 2006, near Bloomfield at the age of 64.

Mr. McCollough was of the Christian faith, a construction superintendent for Brown Construction at Dexter, a former scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 70 in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Glenda Mae Lane on Dec. 23, 1959, at Bernie. Mrs. McCollough survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Micheal E. McCollough and wife Linda of Dexter; one daughter, Donna Sue McCollough of the home in Dexter; three grandsons, Justin McCollough, Wesley McCollough and Nicholas McCollough, all of Dexter.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Stoddard County A.R.C. or to the John Bryant Scholarship Fund.
