Thelma Louise Wright, 74, of Clarkton, was born Jan. 31, 1932 at Monette, Ark., and died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late William Barney Wallace and Maude C. Coleman Wallace. On Sept. 24, 1949, she was united in marriage to Cleo Therion Wright at Piggott, Ark., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1992.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include five daughters, Wanda Smart of Clarkton, Mary Kelley of Puxico, Judy Childers of Morley, Patsy Bolin of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Trella Rickman of Bloomfield; two sons, Tommy Wright of Dexter and Johnny Wright of Vanduser; one step-son, Ronald Wright of Wauchula, Fla.; three step-daughters, Pat Moore of Sun City, Ariz., Carolyn McCoy of Caruthersville, and Deanie Lee of Zolfo Springs, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, John D. Leisure, R.B. Wallace, Toby Wallace, and Bill Cathy; and three sisters, Ida Hensley, Virginia Faith, and Bobbie Morris.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. Steven Bricker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
