Stephen L. Hendricks

Stephen L. Hendricks, 59, of Bonita Springs, Fla., died on Nov. 23, 2006. Steve was the youngest son of Gene and Virginia Hendricks of Stockton, Mo. He lived in Missouri and Florida throughout his life. From age 17, Steve was actively involved in title insurance and the abstract business. He was a life-long abstractor, and he ran his own title companies in the Midwest and Florida, along with his devoted wife. Steve and his wife raised their family in Naples, Fla., and in the Midwest. They recently returned to Bonita Springs, Fla., in 2000.

Steve loved fishing and hunting. He was a man of strong will, honesty, and integrity. He was a devoted family man and the most genuine of Christian spirit. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Helen "Teeter" Hendricks of Bonita Springs, Fla.; daughters, Kelly J. (Brent) Bozarth of Miramar, Fla., and Wendy Hendricks of San Francisco, Calif.; and brother, Larry Hendricks of Kansas City, Mo.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, from 2-4 p.m. at Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Tr. S., Bonita Springs, Fla. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m.
