Eleanor Leirer, daughter of the late Richard Sadler and Lillie Ramsey Sadler, was born on Oct. 22, 1915, at Bernie and died at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon on Nov. 26, 2006, at the age of 91.

Mrs. Leirer was a homemaker and was a member of the Methodist Church of Gideon.

She was united in marriage to Everett Leirer at Bernie on Aug. 5, 1934. To this marriage two children were born.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Leirer of Hillsboro; one daughter, Dorris Tomlin of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Marion Sadler of Dexter; one sister, Louise Smith of Dexter; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 11 a.m. with Rev. Susan Marner-Sides officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
