Susan Kay Schwent West, 36, was born Nov. 19, 1970, in Poplar Bluff and died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at Kenneth Rogers Hospital in Belleville, Ill. She was the daughter of Louis Joseph Schwent of Ft. Payne, Ala., and Beverly McCurter Lisac of Collinsville, Ill.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She was united in marriage to Bradley West in 1997, and he survives of the home in Kennett. Other survivors include one son, Chase Schwent of Bernie; two daughters, Sierra Earnheart of Risco and Bryanna West of Collinsville, Ill.; her mother and step-father, Beverly and John Lisac of Collinsville, Ill.; her father, Louis Joseph Schwent of Ft. Payne, Ala.; and her grandmother, Myrtle McCurter of Campbell.

Visitation was held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. Roger Fowler and Rev. Jim Cowsert officiating.

Interment followed in Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
