Corinne Comeau, 86, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Dexter, MO died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born October 5, 1920, in New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Roy Hachey. She and Dr. Richard A. Comeau were married in 1942. He died in 1992. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Parish in Dexter and recently attended St. Vincent Catholic Church in Cape. She was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by: daughter-in-law-Jane Comeau of Cape Girardeau; one grandson, Richard Daniel Comeau of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Richard A. Comeau; a son, Richard J. Comeau; three brothers; and three sisters.

Friends may call at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, from 4-6 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at Dexter Cemetery at a later date.

All arrangements are made by Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
