Mrs. Borders was a homemaker. She was a former resident of Parma but had been a resident of Dexter the past several years. She attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
On Sept. 1, 1956, she was married to Cletis Borders in Hernando, Miss.
Surviving are her husband, Cletis Borders of Dexter; two daughters, Kim Long and Karla Bridges, both of Dexter; two grandsons, Matthew Long and Bruce Jones, Jr., both of Dexter; four granddaughters, Krista Gross of Bloomfield, Michelle Haynes of Dudley, Hayley Bridges and Kayleigh Bridges, both of Dexter; one great-grandson, Kyan Long of Dexter; and two great-granddaughters, Alyssa Gross of Bloomfield and Lindsey Haynes of Dudley.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Lovette and one sister, Faye Lovette.
Visitation was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.
Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
