Lena Roderman
Lena Roderman, daughter of the late Walter Potter and Elsie Martin Potter, was born on July 24, 1925, at Piedmont and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Dec. 23, 2006, at the age of 81.

Mrs. Roderman was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, a former secretary at the International Hat Factory in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Claude Elmer Roderman on May 10, 1942, at Ellington. Mr. Roderman preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1978.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Nancy Roderman of Ste. Genevieve; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Larry Klinger of Eureka; by daughter-in-law Carol Roderman of Davison, Mich.; two brothers, Sanford Potter and Stanley Potter, both of Piedmont; two sisters, Pauline Gibson of Atlanta, Ga., and Martha Cole of Piedmont; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; a special friend, Wyman Alliston of Neelyville.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Steve Roderman.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Ellington Memorial Cemetery.
