Teddy "Ted" Mack Smith, a resident of Lake St. Louis, was born Aug. 21, 1945, at Poplar Bluff and died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at Blanchette Place Care Center in St. Charles.

He had been owner and general manager of O'Fallon Automotive for six years.

Survivors include Patty Boos, former wife of Lake St. Louis; one daughter, Kim Smith of Redford, Mich.; five sons, Erik Smith of Wentzville, Alex Smith of Minneapolis, Minn., Garret, Collin and Hale Smith, all of Lake St. Louis; two sisters, Alexis Smith of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Konnkie Wietrick of Traverse City, Mich.; two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Faye Kilmer Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 500 Cedar Circle Drive, Lake St. Louis, Mo. 63367.

Mr. Smith was cremated. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date in Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.
