Debbie Rice

Deberal Mary Anna Rice, 43, of Dexter was born Feb. 22, 1963, at Murphysboro, Ill., and died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007. Her parents are Lester L. Rice, Sr. and Wilma Edith King Rice of Clarkton.

She was a member of the Tatum Chapel General Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to Dale C. Tanner on June 5, 1987, in Clarkton, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1992.

Survivors include her son, Wesley Tanner of Southaven, Miss.; her parents, Lester and Edith Rice of Clarkton; and three brothers, Lester Rice, Jr., of Dexter, Roger Rice and Rodney Rice, Sr. of Clarkton.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating.
