Hazel M. Phillips, the daughter of Goldie Weathers Winnsett and the late Louis Winnsett, was born in Corning, Calif., on Oct. 19, 1962, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on Jan. 12, 2007, at the age of 44.

Mrs. Phillips was raised in California and had lived and worked in Washington State where she worked in the apple orchards. She moved to Poplar Bluff in May 2006.

Surviving are one son, Chris Fleming of Dexter; two daughters, Bobbie Holland and Lee Ann Mohr, both of Poplar Bluff; her mother, Goldie Winnsett of Snelling, Calif.; six grandchildren; one brother, Ben Winnsett of Avenal, Calif.; and one sister, Tammie Jay of Spokane, Wash.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Visitation will be held after 12 noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Shelby Stevens of Poplar Bluff officiating.
