Ray Keith Champ, 60, of Oak Grove, Ky. was born Aug. 14, 1946, at White Oak and died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at Hopkinsville, Ky.

He had been a police officer.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna K. (Johnson) Champ of Oak Grove, Ky.; one son, Ray Champ, Jr., of St. Ann; his parents, Julia King-Smith and the late Grover Champ; two brothers, Robert and Larry Champ; one sister, Sue Smith; and one grandchild, Kayla Strasser-Champ.

Funeral services were conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Collier's Funeral Home in St. Ann.

Interment followed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Ann.
