He had lived in Bloomfield since 1949. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Link Full Gospel Church near Bloomfield.
On Dec. 23, 1939, he was married to Blanche Lorene Matlock in Sikeston. She preceded him in death on Feb. 10, 1997.
Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis Vandeven and Rita Scherer, both of Bloomfield; three sons, Charles and Denny Robinett, both of Bloomfield, and Bill Robinett of Advance; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Robinett of Dexter and Wayne Robinett of Jackson; and one sister, Leatha Woodruff of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by one great-grandson; five brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Rick Williams of Malden officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
