Romaine Rogers White, of Lowndes, was born July 4, 1919, at Rhodes, Mich., the daughter of Hugh and Alice Belle Cann Goodrich, and died Feb. 3, 2007, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Romaine was a homemaker and a member of the Community Church of Christ of Lowndes.
Romaine and Charles Rogers were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 1937, and he preceded her in death. She later married Chester White, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Charles Rogers of Lowndes; five daughters, Phyllis Walk of McGee, Carol Weston of Lowndes, Sharon Baker of Doe Run, Peggy McAtee of Advance, and Vicky Turner of Lowndes; 34 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son; a grandson; three granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. Jack and Dale Rogers officiating.
Interment followed in the Community Church of Christ at Lowndes.
